MATTERS UNDERTAKEN

Sharpe's Bureau undertakes genealogical research of many kinds, from the construction and extension of family trees, seize quartiers and house histories to archive enquiries, the examination of existing research and more particular investigations into people, relationships, events and unresolved questions.

Existing family trees can also be reviewed for accuracy, with the evidence examined, doubtful connections investigated and the research corrected or extended where necessary.

Beyond that, there is deliberately no exhaustive list of matters undertaken by The Bureau. Genealogical questions rarely arrive in convenient categories, and some of the most interesting enquiries begin simply with something that does not quite make sense.

If there is a person you are trying to trace, a connection you cannot establish, an account you would like tested against the evidence, a family story or longstanding rumour you would like examined, or simply a question from the past to which you would like an answer, you are welcome to refer the matter to The Bureau.
